セクストーション詐欺とは、インターネットを通じて、特に未成年者や一般の方々のプライベートな写真や映像を不正に取得し、それを使って身元を特定し、金銭を要求する悪質な詐欺です。

この手の詐欺は、被害者が自分のプライベート情報や映像が流出することを恐れ、犯罪者の要求に応じてしまうケースが多いのが現状です。

詐欺師たちは、被害者の心理的なプレッシャーを増幅させるために、さまざまな手法を使います。例えば、「あなたの家族や友人に映像を送る」といった脅迫も行われています。
